Diana Brazzell is the Co-founder and Executive Editor of Footnote, an online media company that brings academic research and expertise to a broader audience. She collaborates with institutions and scholars to translate their research into accessible, engaging, original content targeted to mainstream readers. Prior to founding Footnote, Brazzell worked as a criminal justice policy researcher at the Urban Institute and founded the blog The Policy Brief to bring public policy research to a broader audience. She graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University with a degree in public policy and in religious studies.
