Diana Brazzell is the Co-Founder and Executive Editor at Footnote, where she helps the academic community increase the impact of their research and expertise by sharing it with a broader audience. She is a skilled communicator who collaborates with scholars in a range of disciplines to create accessible, engaging content highlighting their research for social media, mainstream media outlets, policy briefs, websites, and other formats.
Dr. Kristen Weiss is a scientist turned science communicator who serves as Footnote’s Social Media Manager. She has been a communications manager for multiple academic institutions helping scientists translate their work and share it to broader audiences via news media, policy briefs, video, and social media platforms. Kristen received her Ph.D. in environmental policy and management from James Cook University in Queensland, Australia.
