John R. Hollenbeck is the Eli Broad Professor of Management at Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business. His research focuses on team decision-making, self-regulation theories of work motivation, and employee separation and acquisition processes. He has published over 90 articles and book chapters and is an editor at numerous academic journals. According to the Institute for Scientific Information, his work has been cited over 4,500 times by other researchers. Professor Hollenbeck has been awarded over $7 million in external research funding, most of which was granted by the US Department of Defense and the National Science Foundation. He received his Ph.D. in management from New York University in 1984.
