Alexander Parker, Ph.D., is a professor of Epidemiology and Urology at the Mayo Clinic. He is also the Cecilia and Dan Carmichael Family Associate Director of the Center for Individualized Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Florida, which was launched in 2012 to advance research and clinical practice in the field of individualized medicine. Dr. Parker's research aims to improve our understanding of the molecular epidemiology of kidney cancer, with a particular focus on addressing clinical and public health questions. He received his Ph.D. in epidemiology from the University of Iowa and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in molecular and genetic epidemiology at the Mayo Clinic.
