MedicineJudy C. Boughey, M.D., is a researcher, professor, and clinician at the Mayo Clinic. She specializes in breast cancer research, treatment, and surgery and is the principal investigator of several clinical trials, including the Breast Cancer Genome Guided Therapy (BEAUTY) study. After completing her medical training in the U.K., Dr. Boughey was a surgical resident at the University of South Carolina and a fellow in breast surgical oncology at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Boughey currently serves as the chair of the Mayo Clinic’s Division of Surgery Research, the vice chair for research in Mayo’s Department of Surgery, and the director of the Mayo Clinic Multidisciplinary Breast Surgery Fellowship.
