Sarah has a Masters in Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She has a wide-ranging background in international security and economic development, having built microfinance companies in China and Afghanistan, consulted with economic development programs in Sri Lanka, India, and the Dominican Republic, and advised NATO on development priorities in Afghanistan. In 2013, she co-founded Silverside Detectors, an early-stage company that develops innovative, low-cost nuclear radiation detectors. She draws on her deep policy expertise to connect Silverside to the international policy agenda around nuclear threat reduction.
