Arizona is familiar territory to Victor Benjamin, who earned his bachelor's, master's, and doctorate at the University of Arizona. He comes to the W. P. Carey School having taught graduate courses in computers and interworked society, machine learning, and cybersecurity. He is an active member in many scholarly associations, including the Association for Information Systems, Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences, Institute of Electrical Engineers, and Association of Computing Machinery. He previously worked on numerous projects funded by the National Science Foundation, and has strong interests in pursuing further NSF collaboration on research of high-societal impact. Professor Benjamin's research is in the area of natural language processing, web mining, cybersecurity, security informatics, and social media analytics. His research has been published in scholarly journals, including the Journal of Management Information Systems and Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology.
